About Us

Darul Hadis Latifiah Northwest is a secondary school for boys and began to operate as a school from September 2012, Alhamdulillah.

Our Inspiration

Darul Hadis Latifiah Northwest was founded on the inspiration given by Sheikh Allamah Muhammad Abdul Latif Chowdhury Fultali (R.A.) to educate the young British Muslims, he influenced the parents and established the very first Islamic educational institution in London in 1978 – Darul Hadis.

Our Start

In 2012, the community established Darul Hadis Latifiah Northwest to provide Islamic education to the Ummah in the northwest of England. This initiative was undertaken in consultation with the family members, students, and followers of Sheikh Allamah Muhammad Abdul Latif Chowdhury Fultali (R.A.) in the United Kingdom.

Our Progress

The school began with Year 7 and Year 8 in its inaugural year in September 2012. Subsequently, it added a new year group each academic year, and by September 2014, the school encompassed all year groups from Year 7 to Year 11. Alhamdulillah, the first GCSE examinations were held in May/June 2015.

The school has consistently been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in four inspections, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high educational standards and providing a supportive learning environment. These positive evaluations highlight the school’s effective teaching practices, robust curriculum, and the overall well-being and progress of its students. The repeated ‘Good’ ratings also underscore the dedication of the staff and the successful implementation of continuous improvement strategies.
