Qur’an Verse on Charity
From Surah Al-Baqarah (2:261):
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that grows seven ears; in every ear are a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies (the reward) for whom He wills.”
This shows how charity is multiplied many times over.
Hadith 1
From Sahih Muslim:
“Whoever relieves a believer’s hardship in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment…”
Helping the needy = Allah helps you in return.
Hadith 2
From Sahih al-Bukhari:
“The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others.”
The best Muslims are those who serve and support others, especially the poor and destitute.
