Qur’anic Verse (Qur’an 49:13)
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُم
“O mankind, We created you from a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Indeed, the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous (of you).”
Hadith from the Farewell Sermon (Against Racism)
From the Farewell Sermon of the Prophet ️:
“O people! Your Lord is One and your father (Adam) is one.
There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, nor of a non-Arab over an Arab;
and neither a white person over a black person, nor a black person over a white person—
except by taqwa (piety).”
